The PPSV Teen Ambassadors program provides an opportunity for high school students to uphold the Princess Project Mission & Values through onsite school volunteer work and promotions.

We are so excited to announce our PPSV Teen Ambassador(TA) Program!

Teens all over the Bay Area have the opportunity to be a PPSV Teen Ambassador (TA) and serve the school and community they love!

Through participation in this program, students will learn leadership skills, community engagement, public speaking opportunities, marketing tactics, and much more! As a representative of our organization, PPSV Teen Ambassadors (TA’s) will advocate for the Princess Project Silicon Valley, connect with onsite School Staff Members such as Activities Directors, Counselors, School Administrators, and students to market upcoming events, hold school prom dress drives, and more!

Duties

Have fun!
Attend a quarterly virtual meeting with all Princess Project Board members and other PPSV Teen Ambassadors.
Market upcoming PPSV events to your school. Be creative! Set up a meeting with your school counselor or activities director to discuss upcoming events and spread the word on campus! Speak at your rallies and much more!
Hold a Prom Dress Donation Drive at your school and market the PPSV. It’s a win, win!
Have an idea? Contact our PPSV President! We want to hear how we can promote our organization to teens in your area!
Use your PPSV Teen Ambassador colleagues for guidance. Collaborate with other TA’s to discuss lessons learned or great ideas!

Requirements

PPSV Teen Ambassadors must attend a Bay Area High School.
All PPSV TA’s must attend the Bay Area high school they represent.
All PPSV TA’s must be in 9th - 12th grade or an incoming high school Freshman.
A PPSV TA must serve a full school year term. For example: All of Sophmore year / school year term 2022-2023.
A PPSV TA is welcome to serve as many school year terms as they like, until their senior graduation or transfer to another school. In the event of a transfer, a PPSV Teen Ambassador is welcome to keep their title and begin PPSV Teen Ambassador duties at their new school or assist the active PPSV Teen Ambassador, and, in addition, must appoint a PPSV Teen Ambassador successor at their old school.
It is the responsibility of the active PPSV Teen Ambassador to appoint a PPSV Teen Ambassador successor for their school in the event of graduation, transfer, or request to end their term.
